THE PRECINCT
SHRA represents a new standard
in workforce living.
SHRA is not only a response to the pressing housing challenges in Port Hedland, but also a commitment to designing environments that enhance wellbeing, encourage connection, and support long-term community growth.
Designed with workers in mind
Backed by research-led design and combined with our modular technology, SHRA isn’t just a place to stay, its a forward-thinking community that redefines worker accommodation with a focus on quality, comfort, security, safety and convenience.
“SHRA represents the future of workforce accommodation, where we’re not just meeting expectations, we’re setting the new standard.”
A central hub for community connection
Flexible outdoor areas that can host everything from movie nights to food truck gatherings, the space encourages shared experiences that strengthen local ties.
The facility supports mobile vendors and pop-up events. This creates opportunities to spotlight local businesses, build vibrant communal moments, and offer residents a relaxed way to connect after hours.

Our villages are shaped by a long-term commitment to environmental responsibility and practical design.
Key features include:
The reuse of existing infrastructure and materials to minimise waste and reduce environmental impact.
Urban heat mitigation and a water-sensitive urban design that works in harmony with the natural landscape
Passive solar orientation and natural ventilation to enhance comfort and lower energy usage
VILLAGE DESIGN
More than just a place to stay. SHRA is a home base for high performing teams, designed with intent and backed by evidence.
The precinct itself is comprised of the modular village, a row of terrace homes along the east of the site, a convenience store, laundry, fitness areas, dining hall and outdoor recreational spaces. Integrated with the landscape, the village offers a seamless connection to the outdoors in a private and secure complex. The landscape design surrounding the village has been carefully considered to enhance livability, celebrate the natural identity of the Pilbara, and support long-term sustainability.
Once complete, 297 rooms will be available, inclusive of four accessible rooms, each offering comfort, privacy, and durability in a cyclone-rated, modular technology built structure.
